At the heart of our South Dallas neighborhood, March Towards Recovery stands as a powerful symbol of unity, healing, and progress. Created by and for the community, this mural lives at a historic crossroads—the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Street and Malcolm X Boulevard—where legacy meets vision. One side of the mural features marchers in greyscale, honoring those who came before us, with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X prominently depicted as pillars of the movement. The other side bursts with vibrant color, representing our community today—marching forward together in celebration of recovery, resilience, and a brighter future. This is more than a mural—it’s a movement in motion.
